Solar FiT to reduce by 50%
31 October, 2011 at 11:05 AM
The Goverment today released news that the Feed in Tariff for Solar PV installations in the UK will be reduced. This is earlier than the anticipated review date of April 2012.
The Energy Minister said urgent action was needed to protect the wider FiT and that this early revision would help the solar industry avoid a boom and bust market.
The proposals will introduce a new tariff for schemes up to 250kW.
