Fusamatic fittings are unique. They provide a contractor with three ways to access the jointing parameters needed to fuse the fitting:

  • Automatic – Each fitting has a patented Fusamatic pin. The pin contains a resistor which automatically sets the jointing parameters on the electrofusion control box. All the operator has to do is push the ‘go’ button. The Fusamatic pin removes the potential for operator error.
Fusamatic pin technology is designed to work in tandem with Fusion’s QBOX control box, and its predecessor the AM65.
  • Barcode – Each fitting has a barcode for use with control boxes equipped with a barcode reader. A barcode reader is available as an option on the QBOX range.
  • Manual – Each fitting has the jointing parameters moulded into it. The operator can manually enter the parameters into the control box.
