Joint Manager

Joint integrity is absolutely fundamental to the long-term efficiency of ground source systems. G-Source’s electrofusion boxes and butt fusion machines store comprehensive jointing data for each joint undertaken, enabling you to check joint integrity before any ground source pipework is buried. Retaining joint data also acts as a safeguard for contractors should a system malfunction at a later date.

Joint Manager is the system developed by the Fusion Group to store, manage and analyse joint data for contractors using its electrofusion boxes and butt fusion machines: Joint Manager is uniquely available through companies in the Fusion Group including G-Source.

Joint-Manager-2-col.jpgWith earlier joint data software, joint data was downloaded onto a laptop where it could be analysed. Joint data was also often printed out to retain a paper record. Today, Joint Manager has embraced the power and flexibility of the internet to provide a web-based joint analysis system that can be accessed by anyone with an internet connection and the correct password. For example, a contractor can allow its client or consulting engineer to simultaneously access its joint data. Open systems like Joint Manager can be a key selling point on projects where supply chain integration and partnership working are promoted.

Soon, Joint Manager will link up with another Fusion Group innovation, Cyclops, to provide a photographic record of every joint to complement the technical data. You can find out more about Cyclops by clicking here.
